School started the day after Audrey's birthday. Life has been super crazy, hectic, busy, getting back in to the swing of things! So I apologize to Audrey for posting about your birthday so late! Here's what happened:

I have come to realize that I really had an impact on Audrey's separation anxiety when I left suddenly the Sunday Mom passed and remained with my dad and brother until Thursday. This was pretty much the best thing Audrey has done to date! Playing percussion to her own medley of songs! It's a mix of a section from a book about puppies she likes which ends with "let those puppies play outside!" and "Jesus Loves Me" - she is repeating "the Bible tells me so" (kind of...)

I really blew it for Valentine's Day this year... I don't know what happened but the day came and went and I didn't get Jeff anything ( Read more... )

I love that she has finally "figured out" that turtle matching toy that she got for Christmas! What's great is that she can match the colored blocks to the little turtle shell but doesn't quite have the right hand ( Read more... )
